i was just wondering if anybody can tell me how you know if your resin vessel is running out, has it got anything to do with how much it fills up when your producing pure.... or is that a daft Q?

You need a meter to check it.

your tds will rise
once it starts to rise I always disconnect and give it a good shake
it then normally drops for a few days or so.
Make sure you order another bag of resin as it will not last that long!

Yes it will last ages. You won't have to replace it once it runs out, you can just take the cartridge out and leave it empty.
