Hi Discount, the twist grips are very easy to use, its nothing like the twist grips on the old powerpole! Or you could simply use it as a clampless pole, like I do most of the time!! I think the heat shrink which is obviously an optional extra, is about £7.50 or something!! I would say to you, give it a try, for £15 you can't go wrong!! If you don't like it I'll buy it off of you for the same as you paid for it!!

Not sure what you mean by you have something for me, but its up to you where you want to post it, I'm intrigued!! could it be the long awaited video of an slx in action??

ok grounhog lets deal with your little baby , first of all if you can only afford £15.00 then the harris is the pole for you however if your budget stretches a little further then there are many better poles out there , i personally like the 17ft extel as the clamps are far superior regards ease of use and speed and its much shorter for groudfloor work , i also carry 3 other poles all better than the decorators pole , i understand you think this pole is the bees knees but i suggest you wake up and smeel the coffee and stop wasting your time with this piece of ally scrap regards alan

Well here's the thing, you think poles are expensive, what about reels?

Suppliers have hundreds of these things, they are what the hose comes on, but they chuck them so window cleaners can't use them as reels.

Hi General,    I have no problems in using wood reels but how have you got round the problem of through flow ?  I use Hozelock box but would prefer an even smaller reel, that could be done with a timber one.

Alan maybe the customers could care a cuss how you clean their windows- 90% of mine are out anyway, and that includes the commercial

your not offering your customer a pole but a service  ::)and i havent had one
person come out  and complain about my pole :

on domestic two up and two downs its a great little pole especially for price
when you set it against poles of similar extended height

pole may not be for you,but it can def do a job

Nwh, I'm glad your about as I have posted a video especially for you on youtube, its called 'Harris pole in a hurry', although it seems to be taking a long time to appear on there as I posted it 5hrs ago! hopefully should be available soon!! It was supposed to be a speed clip, but I wasn't really firing on all cylinders today as far as speed was concerned,still stiff and aching from all that gutter cleaning on wednesday!!! its quite quick though, and shows me cleaning the front of a house using the Harris pole clampless, and I give you a little as promised right at the end!!!

sorry but dont consider a xtel pole of similar size to be superior to the harris,
poles of this height all do a similar job how quick you use the pole is down to the user

harris quick twist up it goes and quick twist down it goes again

Cheers Mark! yes thats the one, as you can see I was struggling a bit to get up to full speed today, but I think this clip does demonstrate how affective the Harris pole is when used as a clampless pole, it slides up and down so easily, and because it is so light, you can hold it up with the pole hose with no problems at all!!
