Gray how did you get on with the vac system and did you take any piccy's?

Hi Jeff, the gutter cleaning went well thanks mate, but it was exhausting work!! I left home this morning at 6am and was at omnipole for 8.30am when they opened, got to my job by 10.30 and worked continuously until I finished it at 3pm, the guttervac took a bit of getting used to! but on the whole it was very good!! It was quite heavy work using the pole at 36ft!!!! But at the end of the day I got the job done very quickly, and earnt a lot of money for a days work!! Thanks to Glyn for advising me about pricing it up a couple of months ago on another thread!!! :)  I have a couple of pics and will try to post them later if I get a spare minute!!  :)

OK Alan, what company are you from? you obviously have a reason for trying to rubbish the Harris pole! Is it affecting your sales? Well I'm sorry if it is, but anyone who has tried out the Harris pole for real will tell you that it is an excellent, value for money pole! Anyone could come on here and say that this or that is rubbish, or this pole is the best thing ever, but I have actually proved that the Harris pole is a good little pole by posting 7 videos to date to show what it can do! I have no reason for doing this, other than that I am so impressed with it that I wanted to tell everyone about it, and maybe help a few people along the way! So prove what you are saying and post a video showing why your pole is so superior and why you don't like the Harris pole!  ;)

Hi all,
the reason why nobody is posting a video of how good any- alternative pole is - because, quite simply the Harris is the fastest/simplest currently available.

So dont be disappointed Groundhog there is simply no competition, others may be lighter yes, more expensive, yes.

Or we are all too busy earning the money to pay for our more expensive poles ;D

When we have the time (which will not be soon) we will be producing a range of videos showing all of our poles and equipment in use etc.

Thats exactly what I think Jeff, I am sure that the slx or the facelift are great poles, but are they better than the humble Harris pole? I doubt it, and no one has taken up the challenge of posting a simple video clip to show how good they are as yet, so I have no reason to change my mind. I will be posting another video clip later, especially for nwh who has requested it ;) It was going to be a speed clip, but I wasn't really on fire today in the speed department, I'm still a bit stiff and achy from all that gutter cleaning on wednesday, it is fairly quick none the less, and shows how good the Harris pole is when used clampless!!  :)

Guess I'd better add my bit after 25 pages. ;D

From the videos it sounds rattly, like an Unger aluminium pole.
I couldn't cope with that.

I like a pole that feels sturdy.

I'm glad that you have contributed to my thread at last Squeaky!! The pole is very sturdy, and very light, the only time it is rattly is when it is used clampless, because the clamps are left loose, if you do the clamps up it stops the rattling, or you could simply remove the clamps altogether and just use it as a clampless pole, but it is nice to have the option of the clamps if needed!! :)

I don't like twist grips, in winter my grip strenght is poor, also by the time you've shrunk wrapped it etc you could have bought an xtel.

I will congratulate you on the videos though, and it would appear you are pushing the suppliers to follow suit.

I have something for you, do you want it here or shall I start a new post?
