I have fitted an extra cone to the Harris. I had an old pole that was a nice push fit onto the top section of the Harris, I cut it  just below the clamp and glued it onto the Harris with epoxy resin, the Harris now takes the Unger no 1 section making it 6 ft longer.
I could add another 6 ft by inserting the Harris pole into the Unger no 5 section, this would take it to a fraction under 28ft.

Nice one Dai, have you seen the video of my extended Harris pole? I have also added a 6ft piece of unger number1, but I didn't do it the same as you as I used spring clips, so the unger extension is either fully extended or fully retracted, it works well, but maybe the clamp would have been better, I'm not sure?
I have ordered an unger number 5 extension from Wintecs, this should arrive tomorrow, I will let you know how it works!

Post a photo Gary, if you get chance. Did you find the heat shrink easy to use? as I have some on order. Thats my next job, after I have perfected my 30ft Harris pole!!!

i ordered wrap as was advised 4 x .5mt £7.35 with delivery came next day
got my heat gun out on lowest setting slowly went down pole cut excess off
took ten mins really simple

Just to show those who are interested i now got my harris pole all together with new sill brush and trigger.
and heat shrinked in blue

Is the Pole light and easy to use on manily 1st floor windows in your opinion,What is the height of pole when it is collapsed?
Sorry for the questions,but I will be asking loads soon for Groundhog to answer as I will try to make one up for myself....

I could not tell you what its like i have not used it yet, i have only extended it so far and its seems fairly light.
Tomorrow i will put the water on

Its about 6ft collapsed.

I dare groundhog,  jeff or dai will be able to answer your questions

Its very light in use all day long, My eldest girl was having problems using my Hybrid all day, since she change over to the harris pole, she's happy and had no problems.

Thanks for the advice,I did read this in your earlier post...I like the idea of the sill brush to be added on this pole..So what angle adaptor will I have to use to connect brush to the Harris pole?

The pole we talking about in question is the Harris 3-Section Aluminium Extension Pole 3Mtr?I see that Harris do a 5mtr pole online for around £18 plus vat...are these two the same in compatible,diameter sections?
