Her son is a window cleaner in Aussie land and she was intrigued how high I could clean with a pole.
She wants to show her son how I cleaned high windows without ladders.
She watched me clean the windows and then asked me how I was going to dry the windows, I laughed and then I explained to her how the WFP method works. :)

Here you go, a 44ft facelift at full reach, get your harris this high @ the same weight & rigidity with instantly removable sections so i can use it at any length without all the extra sections & i'll take you seriousley. Don't forget I HAVE HARRIS, FACELIFT & SL-X POLES!!!!!

I do find your new found fame/enthusiasm rather amusing mind. ;)

Pro.

Pure class that,build-clamps-removable sections that pole is absolute quality,i would  honestly say it`s the best there is as it ticks every box on the sheet. You can earn back what it costs in no time, mine looks the same as when i got it.

I found some 3 storey windows today that my SL-X pole couldn't reach (was about 8ft too short to even reach the window sills), hence why I used my facelift 44ft pole today. They're both excellent poles.

Nice picture, but it does not prove anything, I want to see it in action on a video. I'm not interested in what kind of height it can go to, most of us rarely need anything above 25ft, which the harris pole is perfectly capable of with a minor modification. Come on guys, post a like for like video, so that we can make a proper comparison.

I've always been enthusiastic about my business, I don't know why you should find it so amusing? I'm just trying to add something useful and interesting to the forum, and hopefully help a few people along the way!!! :)

Wayne, Thats the problem with any pole, never satisfied with the one we have we just  keep trying to make it go higher  :)

I've been using the SL-X pole on every job possible but sometimes it's not enough height. If only it went higher, I keep saying to myself. If it went to 45 ft I'd be over the moon and would consider leaving my Facelift at home. Roll on the SL-X2.

maybe you could stick one or two modular sections in the base to get a bit higher ?

I'm going to try and fit a spare telescopic pole (Ionics or Facelift) on the end of it to make it go higher if it will fit.

Not sure of the thickness of the SL but it may need an external collar to stop the telescopic pole bursting out through the sides.

I'll only fit an extension if it's a very tight snug fit and allow twice the recommended safe length to remain inside the next section down so as not to put any strain on it. If it's not safe I won't fit a telescopic extension.

I use pvc tape wrap to get the snug fit  and found you only need it in two places say 10 -12" apart to  spread the load. Of course it only works if the hose is outside or partly outside the pole. Oh and if the Slx is parallel sections you will need to create a tape stop to prevent it sliding up the inside of the higher pole.

Sorry if I am trying to teach you to suck eggs

I use velcro wrap (the smooth stuff, not the rough) as I find the poles glides better. I'm sure someone will come up with the DIY answer to this SL-X extension very soon. :)
