di only half full with water

Hello just a quick question i have a pure freedom 200gpd ro i have just installed a booster pump and have noticed that the di which came with the ro (clear plastic one) is only half full with water where before installing the pump it was full, just wondered if this matters.

no it doesnt matter.
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

Agree with Alan, but if your resin is escaping out of your di vessel you have a problem as you will be left with no resin.

Best speak to Pure Freedom about it, probably the pressure in is too great.

I think what he means is that there is air trapped in the vessel between the sides of the vessel and the di cartridge  -this happens quite a lot and works its way out over time.
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

hi just slacken off cylinder , bleed out air , re tighten , problem sorted ;D
