Hi All,

When I first started WFP Phill Washington Thomas ( a member on here and a good friend of mine) showed my his system and said

"If you wet it, wash it!"  refering to any part of a window.
He meant that if you get water on any part of the window and don't wash and rinse it then dirt will run onto the glass!!.

The other pearl of wisdom was way back in 2004 when a chap said about WFP
" WFP is not a 'Magic Wand'"

Set yourself a minimum charge, avoid council estates like the plague!!, Do an execptional job and charge well for it! Keep your costs to a minimum!

can't comment on the council estates as i don't work them but the rest is so true.

A good piece of advice and one that I say often these days to my teenage sons is

"The best way to get out of trouble is not to get into it in the first place"

A few moments thought can save you so much grief later.

Here's three of them

Keep it simple!

If you do a good job they'll tell two of their neighbours, if you do a bad one they'll tell ten!!

There's the can'ts and the won'ts, tran the can'ts and get rid of the wont's!

And there endeth the first lesson!  ;)

My Dad: "Sh*g em while your young lad, you can always drink beer when you

get to my age".  ;)

And No 1: "Don't bother with a trolly, go straight for a van mount". Various.  :-[
Just like that

Complete integrity in everything you do

One small white lie can do you more harm than you ever may think

Unless it's to reassure your other half about the size of her bum!
It's a game of three halves!

"Lick everything", advice given to me during an education exam by a semi-illiterate soldier called 'Big Sid' from the Shankhill Road, Belfast.
