What a pain in the rear these people are. You get drawn in by the free listing then the minute you submit your details their on the phone to pressure you into buying a better package. >:(

Oh bugger, just done a search on this company and it doesn't look good. Has anyone on here got one of the free listings? If so have you had any problems with them and is it really free or can i expect a bill soon?

Thanks i did a search on here and found your story. I'm a bit worried because i have a free listing - i can't find anything about paying and haven't agreed to anything or released any bank details but the feedback on these people is extremely bad! :o :o :o

Could be because they do not seem to care a hoot about what is good for you only in them getting a sale, I had them up to about £20,000 PY for advertising areas on my site, I tested them on a few that I rank higher than them, they did not do any homework at all, just tried selling me to much for no reason.

I would say avoid or be wary

Are they still using the line about them having loads of potential customers enquiring about a window cleaner in your area etc etc (pack of lies of course).

just had a call from solicitors asking for contract payment i agreed to (not) only verbally, they then made a site up for me that was so unprofessional  that i tried to cancel the contract with them but now i owe in eccess of £2000 wont pay a penny of that but had scaremainers on the phone threatening me with bankruptcy orders, i said take it to court and they said offer a payment! i then said for what exactly? outcome is court proceedings for something i didnt want! i will fight all the way though, watch this space and dont go no where near these robbers!

I've just looked at their website. Put in my postcode and asked for window cleaners.

They listed ones in: Hertfordshire, Redhill, Docklands, Waltham Cross, Reigate....not bad but my postcode is Putney SW15 ::)

I found that a £15 ad in the local rag is a good a way as any of picking up residential biz. That and a card in the local newsagents.

Don't waste your money, they don't even rank high in the search engines.

What they tend to do is do a key search for window cleaner numbers, I get this regular on the SLWCN website. Latest is window cleaners with 07818 numbers.

You would be better off buying space on Ian's (WW's) site.  He makes the charge clear from the outset and, if my experience is anything to go by, there is a slow drip feed of enquiries that, over time, builds up into an OK addition to your current income.  I'm not saying his site is perfect but at least you know you're dealing with an honest bloke who does what he says he's going to do.

I did a search for windowcleaners in my area and they came out quite high up the list and some of my competitors were listed. Seemed like a good idea at the time to use the free listing facility. Had two phone calls stright away aking me to upgrade to the paid variety which i declined. They went on to tell me fifty seven people had been searching for a cleaner in my area but had gone away because the listings wern't the enhanced package they were trying to push (yeah right).

little tip from searchers minds, if searching for somthing you are likely to click on what you are looking for and not a directory (which stick out like a sore thumb), anyone that knows anything about these disregards them straight away.

I agree Ian, I dont put my listing on for people to click on as like you I disregard these sites. I use them as a way of getting links.
