I've just paid for one marmaris in a few weeks, they've gone up a lot. Turkey is the cheapest because it's not in the eurozone, but still dear.

watched all week, but never had the guts, i met some bloke who had never been or done anything like it before, did 4 tandem jumps and then a solo 

fairplay to him!

seriously though, if you want a good holiday, you have to go to olu deniz, and if you can get in belcekiz beach hotel, the best in olu deniz, our third time there and am looking to book next year, perfect holiday every time

cancun's mexico aint it? find that a bit dear too. I'm a chapskate in some ways ww we usually long haul  in march(egypt sharm al shak this year), but tend to go domincan or cuba for cost and then do turkey or somewhere closer in august.

But the pound is not very good.Wherever you book from now on will be expensive.

yes it is Mexico.

bugger going to turkey in august, I went there a few years bad in june and the wife moaned it was to hot lol, it was over 40  I loved it myself till i stepped on the beach with no shoes on, I have never run so fast in my life (black sand not good) also one sheet of paper and a bit of hose pipe when using puplic toilets, did make me laugh though.

I am thinking of cuba myself

Cuba is great. And it's all all inclusive so you don't have to do sums, just accept that all inclusive is fantastic.
Now that fidel has gone it will open up to the yanks (they can't go there by law), so get there this year before prices go sky high.
It's my wife likes hols. I think they are okay but don't like having to come back and go like stink to catch up. She likes 3wks for the long haul, but i talked her down to 2 this year.
I do like to think(and talk) about work when I am away. I noticed this year that all(a lot) of other holiday makers had their laptops so I bought a twelve inch with 3.5hr battery. I use this in van as a sort of mobile office (notice another one of my ideas).
