i was just wondering, i have been converting my round to wfp (pure freedom trolley) for 3 weeks now and was just wondering about winter, does the water not just freeze up all the time?

Winter is the best time for WFP,hat gloves no more cold hands.Very rarely does everything freeze up on you,if it does you can either go hot or add isopropanol to your water to stop it freeezing.You can get it off of Ebay for about 12 quid for 5ltrs and a 25ltr barrel would require about 2x medicine cap fulls to stop hose etc freezing.

no m8 i didnt get caught out last winter take a look back to post from about jan feb time ther is lots of ways to keep going in winter what people have posted too many to post again but check back when we had the cold spell plenty there

glad to here there is something because i have just done my second clean on some customers and converted nearly half my work, still leaving a few marks but the second clean is so much better than the first and i couldnt be bothered converting and then having to climb again...

Aslong as you store and insulate your equipment properly all will be well!!!!

They do freeze up i lost a few days work this winter through my pumps and pipes freezing up.

But they only freeze when i really cold.

But if you are using a trolley you should not really encounter it much as long as you bring it in at night along with your pole's maybe if its real cold your pole hose may freeze

My system froze twice last year,.. but that was before I had Isopropanoyl and a hot setup.

Once you prepare well in advance,... and keep an eye on the weather forecasts, you'll be fine.

Take care of water freezing on footpaths, as a slip could be blamed on you and you could be sued. A salt shaker is all you need to get over this problem though.

i bought pole n trolley in house at night but had trouble with my jets freezing on the day.had to go home a couple of days but nothing that major.if its that cold its no fun working anyway.wouldnt worry bout it at moment though!!!!!!!!!

In the winter you cant work because the water freezes, in Spring you cant work because of droughts and in summer the windows dry all spotty - so that just leaves September and October, however sometimes in October its too windy to use poles
