Just picked up my van
« on: May 14, 2008, 05:39:32 pm »
;D just picked up my van, new engine now have to install the system ready for tomorrow.
THANK GOD. And thank you to all that helped out  ;)

not having the van mount was like someone chopping off one arm and a leg (slowed me right down) going to have fun climbing this mountain of work  :)

p.s I still take my hate off to guys with car systems and barrels, how you keep going I will never know.

Thanks for that Nat  :P
My van is newish and it now works no problems with engine no gasket gone, no ceased engine or anything (fingers crossed and toes)

I am like a kid that got a new bike and a heavy load taken off my shoulders.

I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

it is already coated m8, I dismandled the system before it went in with a ceased engine (40k on clock) I know have to put everything back in.  ;)

If the floor is already coated and you have all the bolts/holes/fixings in place already,.. you could have it back together in a few hours,... its hard work to do it after dark tho.

I wish you all the best with it Ian,.... I know how you feel though,.. I'd be crying if I had to go back to a trolley for 2 weeks!

if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you to get the new engine installed?

best part of £700, that included new timing belt, oil, oil filter, air filter and trailor away.
does not include the engine cost  :'(
All round I am happy just to get it back.  ;D

Better luck with this one then Ian! Hope you get on top of the backlog before too long.  :)
