Anyone had this problem using wfp and how does it happen? Ive had two complaints about it and i dont no what to say?Is it broken seals and what would happen in a heavy rain storm thats what i think!

Havn't been wfp that long, but double glazing comes in ready made units, if water is getting in between, they're faulty, and as you say, what happens when it chucks it down?  If they're rain-proof, then a piddly bit of pure water trickling out for less than a minute certainly isn't going to do any damage!

The thing is what can you say when they say its only happened since you started using that thing?(wfp)

Maybe offer a partial refund, explain the problem is with the window, and then Goodbye?

Ive been wfp for 2 years and have never had that problem! As Jewelclean says, the seals must be broken and the low pessure that we use isnt going to push water through healthy seals.
I think it is just coincidental that 2 of your customers have had the same problem. Maybe windows made by the same manufacturer???
Check the seals out and see if they are brittle/ peeling away etc. I am 99% sure you are not to blame (100% if you are not doing something out of the ordinary)

Offer a partial refund?? Not on your nelly - that is admitting guilt! I doubt it very much its your fault!

Yeah I suppose you're right about refund, I think I mean you should try and keep the peace and be diplomatic, because to the householder it will seem like you are trying to make excuses, and they will probably get defensive about their windows!

By the way, what do you do about old traditional leaded windows?  I've got one job where you can see where the water has trickled down on thew inside in between the lead and panes, but I thought that they must leak during heavy rain, and just didn't over do the rinsing.  I didn't get complaint, but have only done it once wfp, and it rained shortly afterwards! 

Any suggestions?

you can not see the sealls betwen the two sheats of glass , the seall you see has nufing to do with water inbetween glass

Double glazing is a sealed unit, if the seal is faulty it is either old or there is a fault in it, I would say contact your glazer if they are new.
if it is secondry glazing then it is you duing this as there windows leak (and will do the same in the rain)

I am thinking that this person does not like wfp, and is trying to get you back tradin them again, find out which ones are getting wet ask her when you clean them next and ask if she can point them out, there maybe a hole bit of mastic problem solved, are they double glazed or secondry ?

double i think. Aswell after the 1st clean with wfp she said are they going to come cleaner this time because there was some streeks last time,i said they should yes. so i cleaned them and there was still streaks,so i cleaned them again this time with all the frames very throughly with loads of rinsing and the same one was still streaky. She wasnt happy so i cleaned it trad,and said next time ill do it with wfp and if they r still not good ill get my ladders out again! which i didnt want to have to do! (if other custys see me up a ladder!) Did i do the right thing?

Investigate wether or not the problem was caused by wfp which is unlikely with pvc but possible with windows with metal or wooden frames. If it was caused by wfp accept that some windows are not suitable tobe cleaned with a wfp.
