Ive got one and have tried it on upholstery (draylon) and it worked well but is awkward to handle being so cumbersum for upholstery.

Also think its too agressive for finer fabrics.

Ive used mine on most and find it fine,most fabrics aren't that delicate that it can't be used on them in fact I can't think of one where I wouldn't have.That's not to say that I won't come across one

I dont find it cumbersome at all and for me,it cuts down a lot of the work involved in agitation and finishing off.

But I can see how it wouldn't be for everyone as it's not your every day bit of kit and takes a bit of getting used to.
