ORIGINAL POST:-
I am considering writing to the BBC to ask them show a short clip of a wc using a pole system to clean windows on Albert Square. As long as I have watched Eastenders, Ian Beale and co have never had their windows washed (they must be rotten). All I would ask for is a 5 second or so back ground clip of someone using a system. I think this would be enough to get all those people who have never heard of wfp thinking about getting their high level windows cleaned. I would promote it from the safety aspect as there are far too many ladder accidents within the business etc

THIS IS THE REPLY
Thanks for your e-mail about 'Eastenders'.

I understand as a window cleaner you have noted that that the above programme doesn't have one. I note if it did you believe it would raise awareness and promote the business.

I have registered your comments on our audience log. This is the internal report of audience feedback which we compile daily for all programme makers this ensures that your points, and all other comments we receive, are circulated and considered across the BBC.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact us.

Bit vague isn't it.
Don't think they really understood the request ie WFP.

Hi,

I once saw a window cleaner cleaning the convenience store as well as Dott Cottons Jim cleaning his own with a leather.

As for Coronation street I have seen Norris  from the newsagents cleaning the shop windows as well as his house.

Micky was the last window cleaner in Eastenders he did it for about 5 mins and Mo was his canvasser. He used all the latest equipment - A chamois leather and ladders No squeegee for Micky let alone any sign of a pole!

While ya there matt, ask him why it is the most depressing program on tv.

and back on topic.
It would be a good advert for wfp if you could get on there. But like the rest of the script, if allowed, its bound to be connected to lots of shouting, arguing,  serious injury or even death.
Just make sure it is a visual reference rather than a storyline, or all us wfp'ers will be fooked!!  ;D

Sounds like you`ve been listening to some of your small minded customers if you ask me,i also used to have this view until i saw the light beaming off of a WFP.By the look of your spelling you`ve been at the scotch.

So if Matts mates with the head writer and the blokes easily suggestible, Matt tells him he's heard a whisper that corrie have got a wfp bloke(matt) going at it with a trad bloke (haggis) in the background. Thats sure to swing it.

Bianca(the customer) doesn't pay either of them.

Don't need to be on the gold watch to know that trad is far and away superior to wfp.....

.....come at me ;D
