I personaly would extract initialy, to remove any thing in thier and quite often it will remove with out doing any thing else.
next step m/s or similar and rinse ,
if still I will use Chemspecs red dye remover , its a mixture of two liquids, if this is not succesful, heat trans with rx.
and finaly sodium meta.

Spindle most tannin removers will take out red wine stains before you have to go onto the big hitters.

tannin is'nt the active ingredient in the spotter, its the problem.

cut & pasted;

Tannin is a substance found in many different plants. Tannin is notably found naturally occurring in grapes, tea leaves, and oak. The word tannin comes from the historical practice of using the tannin found in oak bark to tan leather, although in the modern world, synthetic is usually used for this purpose instead.

Pete tannin is a natural dye/colour it is in tea, coffee, red wine. Som is easy to remove, stronger ones are more difficult. Theremove eaier with acidic type chemicals.

Hi Guys

Tannin occurs naturally in red wine but is also an added ingredient to enhance that bitter taste.

I would extract with Pureclean, then use acid rinse neat to turn red again.

Then extract again, then use Tannin remover if necessary.

Cheers

Doug
