For me it's vikan but the rectangular one, how many windows do you know that have oval corners? ;) most wfp suppliers, about 25 quid jetted.

Ionics multipole brush, Tucker, or Vikan rectangular monofilament.

I like the vikan sill brush.

Very heavy, but gives a great clean and a reasuring splay on the glass.  No complaints from custoners so far.

The only issue I have is that it is flocked.  A monofilament version would be a great tool, with much better scrubbing ability for stubborn muck on sills / frames..

I've got one of those in the van and never used it. I'll have to give it a try.

In use i prefere the flocked vikan even though i've used only the mono one for the last 10 months or so. The mono is a bit stiff for my liking but is far better for not holding onto bits of dirt in the bristles. ;)

Well this is becoming common. Groundhog and I in agreement. I have recently been converted to the sill brush. Yes it is heavy but once you get used to it, it is great!

I have both typees flocked and mono filament.

I think too much emphasis is put on the weight of brushes. more often than not we are only talking a few grammes, personaly, a bit of weight to the brush is beneficial in many circumstances. The most important this is getting a brush which suites you & your method of wfp, weight is a secondary concern IMO. ;)

The above comments are generalised & not about cleaning 50ft up with a super-lite 2.

Thats a bit strong. he didnt ask about cleaning 50ft up in the air with a superlight (which I have and use the Bentley brush for). He asked a general question and was given a general answer on my opinion. So I would say to you mac mac, have sex and travel

Hey, hey, calm down, i quoted you as i was agreeing with you about the brush being great but a little heavy, so you chose usability over weight. right? ;)

I choose whatever gets the job done properly. At most heights that is a sill brush whether it be the flocked or mono one. T 50ft it would be unworkable (shame).

Maybe I mis read you.

I have been trying my sill brush this afternoon after saying I had one but never ever used it.

I can see why people like it, it is heavier though and on one house which has a big sideways stretch that was very noticable. I do like the fact that you have bristles pointing in more than one direction so you don't have to keep adjusting the brush angle. Did a bungalow with leaded windows as well and it was great.

My brush needs different jets otherwise it would go into daily use.
