Jerry I'm with you on this one mate, I recently started a thread which had over 1000 views and hundreds of replies and stretched to over 8 pages!! The debate was just getting interesting when one of the mods decided to lock the thread and then removed it alltogether!!! >:( So I don't bother starting threads anymore as it really p*sses me off!!!!!!!!!! >:(

i would bin the.
We further expanded into  Grounds Maintenance including Gardening.

too me that stinks of jack of all trades. makes you look less pro. if your a cleaning company your a cleaning company. o.k if you do these other jobs do them under a difrent name. i wouldnt advertise you do them on your pro looking site that is targeting commercial customas. lets face if the people looking for there lawns to be moaed wont go on line for it will they?

There's a saying:
Jack of all trades, master of none. Choose one and concentrate most of your effort into it to become successful.

I can see nothing wrong in offering different services, many customers would be delighted to be able to use the same company for cleaning and gardening ect!
There is a chap in my area who is doing very well, and he has written on the side of his van very proffessionally I might add 'Nathan's cleaner windows and tidier gardens' As I say he is doing very well for himself and as he said to me he enjoys the variety!

if a chap advertises as a cleaning service, then to offer a range of services hardly comes over as "jack of all trades", as long as the work is to a high standard and the money comes in, that's what matters

You wonder why posts or threads get deleted?

Click on the link and think.

It is done with humour but spells it out plainly.

This thread is a classic case, many totally pointless replies, the thread has gone way off topic too.

A reply will be deleted if there is swearing in it, if you are flaming someone, if you are going off topic, if you are just posting lol or smiley faces and so on and so forth.

I'm not bothering to lock or delete anything of this thread, look through it and find a debate worth paying attention too.

Stick to the rules and you should never have a post deleted, if you are particularly upset that your reply has gone, go to either my profile page or Trevor's and email us.
We may not remember why your particular post was removed, to be honest there are now so many I lose track.
