I wouldn't use a turbo nozzle near the UPVC, you will mark/score/etch it

Thanks,i`ll just use telescopic lance with normal nozzle, also Roger i had problems with the brass quick release cuplings supplied with my honda 390 washer ets fro the states andcouldn`t wait 9 days for replacements as i have loads of work on,i went to pirtec and they swapped all my connectors on my pipes, fsc and guns etc to stainless steel ones with closed ends which push open when connected up,the other brass ones were just open ended ones, they were really helpful and said it was for the best as i could just come to them with any problems in the futureand won`t have to rely on e-mail and post etc, will i lose any pressure and are these connectors, cuplings as good as the brass american supplied ones, thaks dan

No you shouldn't loose any pressure with the closed end type, but you will have some water in the hose as once you un-couple from your machine and take your lance off, the hose is sealed IE the closed ends close. I have this type of connector on my chemical pumps, I have to really flush them out after use and don't want any water etc sitting in my hose lines, so what I do is put a female connector on either end of the hose, once it has been flushed out and the remaining water etc runs out as you roll up the hose. What you are doing here is opening the closed male ends with the females and allowing excess water to come out. Hope this makes sense.

Thanks Roger,i was just a bit worried as everyone says theirs is best and when your starting out you have to get impartial advice, used my telescopic lance today and the client was well impressed,i soon learned thet when you swap tools on the end of these new connectors you have to make sure you empty your hoses each time to release the pressure or you`ll never get them on,i can`t fault the service pirtec gave me and it`s great knowing i have their back up close to home and good advice from blokes like yourself as my books filling up,thanks a lot mate,Dan
