Any one use these dry compound cleaning, which is best.
Also do you use HWE and which do you find best HWE or Dry Compound Clean?

Before I purchased I had a demo of the Host and then the Envirodri.
I bought the Envirodri purely on cost basis.
Nothing between the machines in my opinion.
Cleaning sponges - other then the demo not tested the Host.

HWE machine - I have a Scorpion portable with 300psi pump, 3x3 stage vac motors and 2" hoses.
Find the machine extremely powerful and light to move about. Even getting upstairs is OK.

Hi Joe, would you say HWE or Dry Compound better for cleaning, or do they both have their own place?

Mike, a sebo for dry cleaning isn't in the same league as a host or an envirodri

Aidan
Low moisture cleaning be it counter rotating or rotary has its place but HWE does all things -some ok, some very good.
So main machine has to be HWE IMO.
However, there are some who have rotary as main machine and some who have Envirdri/Host as main machine - and do god jobs.
Martin_606 who posts mostly in the general cleaning section seems to have perfected the Envirodri.

Nice one Alan, i'm glad your getting a return with it. When you come to buy another machine have a look at the envirodri

Art   I will do that. The feature that i like with thr host freestyle is that not only is it a good piece of kit but it gets alot of comments (good ones) from staff and customers alike when i am cleaning areas in a hotel say.If might be the sound of the vaccum coupled with the brushes.I suppose the only difference is the vaccum  anyway as the principle is the same.If cost is a consideration i try to source a well service/looked after machine rather than buy a new machine without everything on it i want.I now have two excellent freestyle machine which i purchased for £1100 a piece(total £2200) which is less than a new one would cost before v.a.t and these go on for ages even when used for huge areas on a regular basis.

Far better results from bonnet cleaning than host or envirodri.Host machine looks impressive to the custy but at a price, had one sold it bought the envirodri.

HWE is far superior to dry compound cleaning.

Years ago I would host rugs and then low moisture clean them to brighten them up, but it came too time consuming but a good safe way to clean and get the rugs dry within minutes.

Having used both, I found the Enviridri to have the edge over dry cleaning and much better for aggitation before HWE. The bigger model e40 is the one I currently use. They are around £1000 new now but worth every penny.
Here is one for sale on ebay with warranty
