Shurflo (Booster) Pump
«
on:
April 15, 2008, 10:19:20 pm »
Just got my Shurflo (Booster) Pump today and conected it to my system.... What a difference it makes
Pumping through the RO at 4.75bar 70PSI and getting 7 on the TDS reading...
Hopefuly now I have got some good pressure I can fill the tank up quicker and it will make to RO run better aswell...
I notice that their is NOT alot of water waste either.
Does anyone else use a Booster pump? and at what PSI are you going through and what is the TDS

Yes....
I have just looked at it as it is filling up and I have now move the pump from between the softner and the RO and connected it from the inlet and the pre fillters as I don't feel the water was geting through quick enough.

so the pressure has gone down and the tds has gone up?
why?
My pump runs at 90psi all the time, tds remains the same all the time.

I have a 300GPD RO and i did have mine conected after the prefilters but was told by RO-MAN were i got the booster pump from its better before the Prefilters so first in line basicly.
but my pressure is 82PSI with pump tds is around 24 tho
but that could be to do with the hise tap TDS around 380 sometimes 408
