You will be able to buy replacement rubber end caps, alloy clamps, carbon sections and alloy top end screws

Is it an entirely carbon fibre pole? So all the sections will be replaceable? :) :)

I thought someone mentioned the clamps will never need replacing as they will last a lifetime?

I travelled from Norfolk to sunny Cornwall to check the SLX out. Two points: 1. It will be worth the wait.  2. It will in my opinion be worth the money as well.  Its surprisingly light, very rigid and strong. Be patient boys. All good things in life are worth waiting for.

Yes and all sections are replaceable.

Realistically, the clamps will never need replacing but you never know when someone might dismantle them and lose some bits.

Alex how do you not do all of us a favour and do what Peter Fogwill done and start your own forum and then you can talk about your own products all day long.Nothing against you personally Alex but its getting ridiculous now Alex this and Alex that and it seems to be one law for you and another for all other suppliers.
