When I first started wfp it happened to me twice in the same pond, the thing is, you know its there but you get so carried away in your work you forget to look behind you.
Lucky for Joey it was a warm day mine happened in December and it was freezing.

I came close today too.  Managed to save myself.  The custy was stood talking to me at the time so it would have been twice as embarrassing. ;D ;D

I know it was warm today but the water still would have been nippy.
Veni, vidi, vino, splatus.

 (I came, I saw, I drank, I fell over...)

A young lad who worked with me some years ago once placed the A frame ladder ON the gate so he could reach over to unbolt the lock.......

I just remember him being there one second then he was gone as the gate flew open as he undid the bolt.....fantastic!

I've never gone in a pond but my word I must have come close. Water fed pole is a killer. You walk around holding the pole in both hands and looking up.

I have walked into things, walked off kerbs and raised areas, trod in mud, dog poo, cat poo and flattened I don't know how many plants.

Haha  ;D. Here is my ten pence worth. I once did a contract cleaning the windows on all the fire stations in my local area. I was cleaning the windows on the doors to the garage were they keep the fire engines on my A frame ladder when all of a sudden the doors opened really fast. Being a quick thinker I thought to myself. " I don't fancy hitting the floor!" So I jumped from the top of the A frame as the doors become fully open.

You should have seen the look on the faces of the fire-men when they looked out the door to see an air borne window cleaner, squeegee in hand about 8 or 9 foot up in the air in front of them.
