Hi everyone,
I use one of the rectangular mono filament vikans, great brush, a little heavy, but great... I've never had a complaint about scratching until last month, when a customer pointed out to me a deepish scratch on her conservatory window....
...now I'm CONVINCED this wasnt me, I clean off my brush head regularly, getting rid of any grit that I can, and would surely know if I'd scratched a window so deeply? I really dont see how anything lodged in something as soft as one of our brushes could possibly do this...
This is a good customer, and is due again this week... my question is, how do I put her mind at ease that I havent caused the scratch? Any of you guys come across this before? Dont particularly want to do the conservatory by hand.. its quite high and I'm quite short

I have had one customer say I scratched the window this was my reply to the call.
I will come round in about 30 mins.
I get there and there are scratches on the glass, I say I cant scratch windows with my brush as it is soft.
I show her the brush and clean the window next to the scratches she sees it not scratching and is ok after this.
I did say that before when I was trad there was a slight film on the glass where as with wfp there is none so now it is perfectly clean you will see any little probs with the glass.
She was amazed by this and is still a customer today and speaks highly of wfp which is a result.
I could have just ditched the customer as many would say to do, but if I did how many people would she talk badly to. this way she speaks highly of me and the waterfed pole.
Saying straight out it was not me will get this persons back out, just explain it to her like I did and show her this way she can see it was not you (hopefully it was'nt)
Good luck
Ian
