Alex, did you ever sort out the extension bit on the new pole, i know the SL2 section idea was abandoned but can't remember if you were producing another?

We have designed an extension section for the SL-X. It is a fully telescopic carbon fibre section that slides on the bottom, basically a sixth section. Unfortunately due to production delays it will not be arriving with the first batch of SL-X poles this week. Hopefully it will follow shortly.

Alex, how will the preordering thing go? I've preordered mine, but should I call up? Or is there a special option on the site, how do you know it's me who's ordering? Because I use a different name then my business on my orders. :)

We know who you are  ;D

We have a master list, with contact details, which we will use to ring you up or email you to ask for payment and delivery details. We will also take details of any options that you want and other associated products. We are going to start at the top of the list and work our way down, it will take some time to work though the list and then pack them off so if you have reserved one in the last week or so then it may take a week to get to you.

We will not be putting them for sale on the website until all our pre-orders have been fulfilled.

jaykie, If I was you I would sell a couple of them poles to help fund the SL-X. Replace all them poles with just one. I would keep the 30ft as a spare though just incase or incase you need another user in the future. Luke

It's called retail therapy.

Trouble is it's only exciting receiving something new and unpacking it and using it once or twice, then you need another fix! :P

We are hoping to take delivery on Friday  :)

Unfortunately we are now taking delivery of them on Tuesday as our shipping agent does not want to ship them to us tomorrow. The reasoning is that if they get mis-sorted by the carriers they will end up in a depot all weekend and that is when products go missing! You do not want that happening with £40k worth of poles!

Yea I can definitely understand that, no problem though, at least they are under way! :)
