Dont let it get damp

Over the last couple of days I have noticed that my battery has not been charging (this I know because I have a LED volt display showing me the power left in it in the cab) after some investigation I discovered that 1 of the terminals on the split charge relay has got damp (not sure how cos it was it a dry place under the bonnet of the van) and as a result corroded
So be warned even if you think its in a dry place it may not be
A new one just cost me £25

its not damp that causes it to corrode its vapour from the acid in the battery.
