selling work, what do you tell the customer?
« on: April 06, 2008, 08:44:07 am »
Hi all,

I have agreed to sell some of my work to another wc, those of you have done so in the past, how did you inform your customers......... I dont want to give them the impression they are being "trafficked" !!!

cheers, greg

yep, when ive done it, ive wrote a letter, photocopied how many houses there are, then took the new cleaner round to meet them, if theyre not in i stick one thoughr letter box, and if they are i explain to them and give them a letter.

something along the lines are

thank you very much for your custom in the past years. i have picked up alot of work and i can no longer get round everyone in time so MR X well be looking after you. thank you again for your custom.

Pretty much the same as above apart from I add a line saying:

'We hope that finding you a new, reliable window cleaner is appreciated.  If you have any queries, please don't hestitate to get in contact with us' (or words to that effect).
