Snapped in half Mkll version. I tried cleaning without it for a while but just couldn't get used to cleaning without one, good job i had a spare. What i really missed was the ability to twist the pole and rorate the brush head, it really seems to save your wrists.

I remember when I broke my Mk1 swivel, once you get used to working with them its very difficult to do with out them.
I did come home and repair it, got some new ones since then and I also carry a spare with me.

Where is the best place to buy swivel joints?

Someone recently posted an email/website address showing a picture of several swivel joints in a clear packet - real cheap (maybe from Wilkinsons?).

Thought I'd saved the item, but apparently not.

jouk - does it just screw onto the end of the angle adaptor/gooseneck?

yes it does mike, there not as good as the mk1 but then they are not available anymore, 1 think though you need to drill and put a small thin bolt through the ball swivel, stops it poping out which is a pain, if you do this problem solved like this

Jouk - Thanks, but does the pin not stop the ball swivelling - surely it will only travel in 180 degree plane instead of 360.

That's what it's supposed to do, side to side, otherwise it wouldn't work

the pin just stops the ball joint comming out of the socket, the swivel moves sideways,

Thanks Tony that's the site i was looking at (i think you posted it on here). They are so cheap and light that the postage for half a dozen shouldn't be more than about three quid!
