Any of you guys use Brodex WFP? They were at Windex. If you did use them, what is there after sales like? What about value for money for tanks and poles? How reliable did you find them. They claim to be one of the largest suppliers of WFP so how many of you use them? Would you recommend them to others, if so why, if not why not?

I have two Predator poles, and one Prolong.  The Predators are a cheap and cheerful glass pole which is as good as any, and cheaper than most.  As with all glass poles, if you use them every day they wear out.  My 18ft lasted about 9 months which I thought was pretty good.

I now use the 18ft Prolong, bought in August last year, used every day for everything (ground and 1st floor) and so far showing no signs of wear at all

I can't speak about their systems as I have a self-build static.

after sales very good, about a month a go i took 4 of there  poles there to be repaired and they didnt charge me a penny,although the poles are only 13 months and some would say they shouldn need too be repaired after only 13 months but my lads dont look after anythin , but i thought it was good of them to do it for free. Ive also got a couple there systems and they a very good systems and the red tanks look good in my red vans .

we have a cheap crappy predator but i have to say its lasted twice as long as the Ionic poles
in fact its on its second year now and used every day 7 till 4
THE SECRET IS TO WIPE IT OVER ONCE A WEEK WITH A SILICON SPRAY AND IT WILL LAST FOR AGES
we use it on all our poles it makes them look like new again and they slide better than new !! ;)Edd
We also find Brodex very helpfull and not full of crap like some??

in fact its on its second year now and used every day 7 till 4

They phone me every month as well, but only to try and sell me stuff!!! They are not interested that my 18' predator is now only 12' because it keeps breaking! or the fact that my other 36' brodex pole is only 30' because it has a broken section even though I only use it about once a month and have had it about 6 months or so!! Sorry but my experience of Brodex has not been good!

Same as Ian although I use the 30ft prolong. Also have a few 24ft predators. Never had any abnormal problems with them.
One of them started life as a24 foot 4 years ago, after several cuts it is now a 6 ft pole for ground windows.
Phoncalls aren't pushie at all, and you can shorten or drag out the conversation as you feel fit.

  There sales people ring me every month too, and every month I ask them to send me a brochure and details of their latest offer, to date they have still failed to send the brochure - puts me off buying from them.

I thought the predator pole was only brought out a year or so ago!! So I don't know how you have one that is 4 years old!!!

i bought a 24ft so called hard wareing alumin prolong a few months ago,i must have used it no more than 8 0r 9 times and one of the clamps has broken already,i havnt had chance to get back to them yet,but i wont be happy if they expect me to pay for one

Bought my system and Poles from them approx 4 years ago. Recall being in the brown sticky stuff one B/Holiday weekend and they pulled out all the stops to help.

The only issue i have with them are Postal charges, but as they claim, it isn't there charge, but maybe a shop about for a cheaper alternative could be a idea!

Have only ever used their poles, so don't think i'm in a position to comment against others, but like anything, If YOU look after them, they will look after you.

Me "why would I want a 250l set up ?"

Cant blame them for trying at all, the sales men are quite good but they under estimated what I would need and gave me a bad impression overall.

So Brodex if your reading this, find out details before trying to sell, the key to selling is listening to your customer, this works I used to do it for a living

brodex all rounders great in my opinion bought 2 machines off them, what a difference to the old tucker

SORRY my tinternet has been down until today its silicon spray from any plumbers merchants or 3 in 1 do it
you know like the oil 3 in 1 just spray it onto a sill cloth and wipe all over leave to dry 1 min or so and polish off
and BINGO a nice shiny pole.............. Edd

But it has to silicon spray not oil !!
