i have 2 of the most basic 1.9 non turbo diesel ones
stand up to the job very well in my opinion
got 650 lay flat tanks and fill to around 550ltr mark
great for one man operation and with three front seats
can take the kids to school

i have the fiat scudo 1.9   not too big ...not too small side doors on both side panels...three seats....

got the 2.0HDI Expert - twin side doors,brilliant van - well worth buying.

Citroen Despatch, perfect size for me fits in the multi-storeys and on peoples drives. 2l HDI pulls like a train.

 I had old shape expert and it was perfect for the job i now have new shape dispatch  2.0 HDI diesel 120hp and very happy with it

anyone with an older scudo find that the panel fit on the doors is crap,or is it just mine,also on thursday after sitting out a real nasty hail shower i noticed a wet patch on top of rear wheel tub on offside,water seems to have got in through the rail the sliding door runs in any one else got a leaky scudo/expert/dispatch?

good of course, plenty of low down grunt with 650ltr of water on board you don't know it's there.

I have a scudo and its a fine size of van but it feels sluggish but its the bottom model non turbo and it whistles when at speed as the sliding door sits out about 10mm poor fitting

I also have a scudo 2l turbo diesel i too have a problem with the sliding door , but is it really a problem? no, it whistles a bit when driving at speed , solution turn the radio up ! i am very very happy with it and would not change it ..... it is also real quick , even with full tank(500l)

all in all I reckon they're a really good van for the money - def go for the HDI/JTD models, more power, same economy.

door mechanisms are the best though.

Got the non turbo version expert. Fuel consumption Dire. Payload easy to exceed. I have a 500l pure freedom set up. (very good) . With me 90kg. spaniel  dog 25kg, pressure washer, gutter lance, poles, 100 m hose, plus 60 metre hose for pressure washer, plus sometimes a helper (90 kg) . plus odds and sods.Went to weighbridge without passenger and full tank of fuel was 60kg over limit.

Nice van van  no probs  but would get the hdi next time or  a bigger van with equal fuel consumption.
