I didnt realise it was so hard
« on: March 25, 2008, 11:47:33 pm »
To Design the van sign writing,... its really tricky stuff as it is permanent and i want to get it right.... i would really like a reach and wash/clean loo, but i think its illegal, unless anyone knows of one that is ok  ;)

i really thought i would be able to come up with what i want in an instant..

advertise my service....what i do etc.... LARGEST LETTERS... other services a bit smaller... phone numbers etc..LARGE NUMBERS....

But i have jumbled things around on the computer that many times, i think i will go away and pop fresh eyes on it again in the morning  ::)

did you guys um and ar like this.?

Just change the wash word to say clean or something else, you can still use reach and something just not reach and wash.

Say who you are.......what you do.......how you can be contacted.......keep it simple and straightforward and easy for people to see. Too much info in one place makes people lose interest.
As for other services, once you receive the calls generated from the sign writing, you can give details then. :)

Jaykie,

hope you dont mind me saying this but only trying to help ok.

at the front logo looks nice, at the back you are using to much space with no gain.
IMO put logo to left and services you do on the upper back panel, people spend a lot of time sat behind a van use this to advertise, also I see no website address on there this would really open up your advertising from it..

RWC in boxes looks good maybe at back Reflections
                                                      Window
                                                      Cleaning

instead of
                 Reflections
       window
                 cleaning.

you could easy get your whole logo in one panel, think when van door is open  ;)

Give all the info that you want on your van to a professional sign writers. They will lay it out on a van the best way. Ask them to email you their suggested layout to approve and once you have it you can either signwrite your self or get a cheaper company to do it.

Sign writers round our way are getting wise to this, they won't show you a layout till you part with some cash, but they do guarantee to keep altering it till you're satisfied with the results.

That sounds reasonable to me Ian.  I would take a deposit for it too.
