anyone work out of a people carrier?
« on: March 23, 2008, 11:48:53 am »
was just talking to someone, as i might be wanting a new van, but then have the kids at the weekend. but we only have a small car aswel so was just a thought, maybe something like a vw sharan, windows blacked out. even van wrapped. sign writting, take out the seats when not in use, and have all that space. seems the pickups are too thirsty and maybe a little small

what you all think?

i use a people carrier for the same reason it dos its job mate . you get the best of both worlds once the seats are removed its as good as a van for space then seats back in for family .

An ideal vehicle is the Citroen Synergie/Peugeot 806/Fiat Ulysses as they have a completely flat load area and with the seats out, they have fantastic mounting points that you can ratchet down to.  They also have a good load rating so carrying a 400 litre flat tank would be ridiculously easy.  They also have sliding side doors which make them ideal work vehicles.
