As you guys know I'm starting cc and hard floor cleaning. I'm a tiler by trade (walls and floors) and i always like to start work at 7.30am where ever I'm working. What times do you guys generally start.

Domestic - 9am or a bit later if lady is on school run.

Commercial - to suit them - all hours start and I mean all hours - 11pm, 3am , 6am - done them all.

if i had my way i'd start domestics at 7am, I get up at 6 so tend to sit around for ages before I can get to work.

I always offer an 8am appointment (especially to OAPS) if anyone mentions the school run I ask if I can start at 8.30 so they can let me in, then do the school run.

Usual start time 9.30 am. Like others it lets people get back from school run and also rush hour has died down a bit by then.

It also allows for emergency jobs, little jobs etc to be slotted in at 8.30 which again is then before the worst of the rush. If I have no emergency jobs then I can do some paperwork etc.

It suits me to do earlier as well, say 7.45 to 8.00 in some cases. For example, single people who leave for work just after 8.00. I can arrive before they leave, be shown around the job (including where the coffee is) be paid and given a key to push back through the door once I have left. Customer comes home in the evening to dry carpets and I am not arriving early evening when by which time I am tired and wanting to get home.

In run up to Christmas all the 8.30 slots go then it's the 7.30 slots and once I was known to start at 6.30 on a dark morning in Christmas week. Didn't get home that day till 22.30; well knackered...but extremely well paid!

I normally start at the begining on most jobs, unless its a Sunday then I dont start at all. Thats a day of stopping.

I'll start whatever time customer wants me to. Be it 7.30, 8, 9 or if later I will book something in before. Like to finish domestic before dark.

Give your customer the choice, they will admire you for it.

Resize picture to 70(width) x 80(height) pixel size. Or at maximum 80 pixel size in height (dont think the width matters so much).

Go to profile at top of page, then click forum profile information, then check the I will upload my own picture button, then choose your image from your computer.

Smaller file size the better as well.

If you cant resize your image send it to me at jasonhedges73@aol.com and i will do it and send it back

Depends on the photo

I can crop/cut/resize/lighten/darken most images with my limited computer skills. Unfortunately cant make you better looking

Tried with my own picture but to no avail :

Basic photo editing software can do this, I use paintshop pro.

If you want me to do it send me a picture, promise not to post it on any unscrupilous websites .
