Another thing to look out for is wear and tear on the plastic hoselocks seeing that they are dragged across the tarmac every time you wind your hose in. A simple cure for this is to get a tennis ball or similar, Cut a little hole right through the middle of it (2 holes in total) and feed your hose through it so the hose lock will be just sticking out of the ball. By doing this your hoselock will never touch the ground and wont wear. Someone suggested this before on this site and it works brilliantly
If it is leaing through the threads on the hoselock have you tried PTFE tape?

I've cured all my leaks with ptfe & new o rings.Tony
Just a thought, you haven't got too much pressure in your system by any chance?
