In trouble with Old Bill
« on: March 16, 2008, 10:47:55 pm »
The trouble with being good at this job is that some regular customers can't believe it when you say the stain won't come out.
"But you always get it out" they say. "You've always done the impossible!"
Well in this case the customer was a lady Police Inspector who had spilt a raspberry smoothie on a cream wool carpet. Then applied 1001 and then waited 3 weeks before calling me in.
What got me into further trouble was that I was complaining about my joints which she chose to mis-interpret (LOL)!! :)
Suggested she go down insurance route or move the dining table to a strategic place over stain until house was sold.
(She was upset by the death of the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester, but was planning to move to a new job working for the Mad Mullah of North Wales, whom she said is nothing like what the press portray him to be.) :o
