Steve/Paul,

Are the Vac' motors on the Eclipse in Series (VO) or Parallel (AO)?

I read somewhere, (can't remember where) about a manufacturer that offers you the option of either set up.  Not sure if this was Cleancraft or not!

Cheers.

Steve,

When you aquired your Ninja why did you not get one with the larger pump.?

I am told that if anyone wants a larger pump in Advantage they can have one.

David M,

My house has notoriously bad wiring and trips without too much trouble, I have used the Eclipse with the two machine leads plugged into a twin socket and the heater running from a socket in the same room, to my suprise no problems what so ever :)

The advantage only comes with the 135psi option.

Now i have the advantage of using a machine with 500psi I dont know how i have managed with only 100psi for so long ???
So doubt another 35psi be much better!

One thing that i have noticed is that the pump fitted to my eclipse is rated at 1500psi :o but is limited to 500, so no worries of overstressing :)

Paul/Steve,

How would you strong young bucks rate the manouvreability of the Eclipse for ageing cc's like myself?

Cheers,

Doug

Hi Doug,

The monouverability is actually superb, its very well balanced and well laid out with the hoses all connecting to the rear of the machine and a majority of the weight over the back wheels, this makes moving it mid clean much easier than the comanche.
Saying that the machine is a little heavy but not un managable, this weight is a result of the beast of a pump and motor which may weigh over 20kg alone :o
Nick tells me the 300psi set up is far lighter :)

Paul,

If you were to use your Eclipse at 135 psi, you would notice a difference in performance over the Surflow pump of the same pressure.

This is due to the fact that your current pump has sufficient flow to sustain the pressure.

Doug

I lifted into my van today with half a tank of water. Its very easy to manoeuvre a ramp would be helpful but more of a luxury than a necessity.

The vacs are in series.
