Sure flo at full speed?
« on: March 06, 2008, 01:59:14 pm »
Been running a Sure flo pump on my Alltec Pro plus for years. Its the one which only works when it needs to if you know what i mean lol i.e it stops and starts when you want water. And its been used on that machine with the electronic flow control. Can this pump be used without a flow control and be run at full speed all the time? I got a spare and was thinking of putting it on my Ninja which is going through Ashbys pumps like nobodies business.

Thanks
 Chris

Thats called a demand pump. It basically has a small solenoid which senses a drop in water pressure and activates the pump. Would work perfectly without an electronic flow control.

Chris some you can just unscrew and put a metal flat plate on others need a head change ( new 8000 series).

pull both the connectors on the solenoid off and join them, it will then work all the time.
