Problems questions and answers.
« on: March 04, 2008, 05:44:16 pm »
I was thinking it would be good if we had a thread where we could all give are input into fault finding with a WFP system ie we give the fault that we`ve had and then give the answer to finding the fault.I`ll start it off with 1,connected hose from tank to hosereel but once connected pump keeps turning on and off with no water to pole, answer = varistream set on to high a setting therefore to much pressure to hosereel making pump turn on and off, turn down to a lower setting problem solved.

No i didn`t mean answer my problem i meant give an account of your problems you`ve had in the past and how you solved them,it gives people some sort of list that we can all go to for future problems that may crop up.If i have a problem that you may have had i can then go to this thread and the cause of the fault will help me then to rectify mine.

my flow rate was reduced considerably for a few weeks resulting in me having to turn the flow rate right up. I eventually sussed there was some debris blocking the hose at the Y piece.

If it`s twisting up the chances are it was put on the reel the wrong way round.

It is happening because it`s twisted, take a good look at it and in places you will see.
