Hi guys, am soon to start my own window cleaning business and i wonder what you think of my marketing idea. I was thinking of asking some pretty college girls to call on customers and pay them on a commission basis. I say i will ask them, better get my missus to do that just in case these girls get the wrong idea ! But what do you think ?

If your looking for  a customer base of horny college lads and dirty old men , its probably a great idea, if your trying to sell to 40 something women with 3 kids and a bad hair do, not so much

Totally no no, 80% of people that will open doors are the housewife. So no way will they say yes.

So ask some pretty girls at the College who they think are the nice looking guys at the college and ask the guys instead....

Why not cut out the window cleaning and just go in for pretty girls and good looking young men door to door.

I have seen a few people on here comment that their wives or partners seem to get better results when out canvassing, so it might actually be worthwhile.
I don't know whether I would take a young girl as seriously as a yummy mummy if they knocked at my door!

a definite yes the best work i got was when my daughter and her friend went out for me and all the work has stuck so they must of done something right , i have two college girls starting for me in the easter holidays and i,m sure they will bring in good work . regards alan

Being a red blooded male I agree that pretty girls can sell you product but, I have two points to make.

1/ If the person that answers the door wants to know details about the services you are offering, will the girls be capable of answering them? (for example... pricing, cleaning method etc)

2/ It's one thing to use pretty girls at organised events for marketing but you could be sending these girls to the door of a pervert or rapist, could you live with yourself if something happened to one of them?

is the husky  on yer avatar yours? i have had mines for almost 15 years. they are great dogs in fact the best dog i have ever had. they can be a bit wild somethmes though.

yeah, shes much older now, we`ve got 2 yearlings, I know what you mean about wild, hard work aren't they! lots and lots of exercise keeps em calmer
just been down the shore with them its the only place we can let them off the lead but only one at a time otherwise we`d never get them back!!
