No pressure on pump
«
on:

I run a cKleenrite edge porty with a 300 psi pump.
Problem is I am losing pressure, the pump will get pressure but as soon as you pull the trigger, it is zero and then has to build pressure back up.
Anyone got any ideas on what is wrong.
Pump is a century pump

check your intake filter in the solution tank, if its scaled up of clogged with undisolved powder you will get the problem you are experiencing.
hope this helps

Try priming first in case you have an air lock. Fit an open ended fitting to your hose , turn on the pump and run water through. It should be at a good flow rate. Then re connect your tool and try again.
Safe and happy priming

Fixed this same problem in same machine for a local guy yesterday.
As Ken says its an air lock. Dont let your clean tank run dry and take in air.
To solve you need to bleed the pump.Kleenrite edge machines normally have a male endbleeder located in a hole just above the waste outlet. Plug that into your solution line and switch your pump on( with a full clean tank of water) let it run for about 2 mins( dont let the tank run empty) every couple of seconds put your finger over the nozzle to build a little pressure up, then let go. This should do the trick.

No clogging in intank filter.
Did think it was an airlock, but have tried to run water through machine, but to no luck. maybe i did not give it long enough.
Will give it a go with the male bleeder as Paul suggests and will let it run for a few minutes.
thanks for your help guys will keep you updated

No blockage. Took head off pump and its all bits of metal and bad stuff, so looks like new pump.
I need a 250/300 psi pump if anyone got a spare

Your right Paul they did have an offer on them last year. Offer is over now though (sadly) as i bought one last month and they put a fasco motor on it and it came to £350 plus vat or thereabouts if memory serves me right.
Seem to remember he said it would kick out 400 psi.
Damian.

Karl
If it's just the pump that's damaged, just buy the pump and use your existing motor. Perhaps your machine's supplier could do this for you (Cleancare International?) or perhaps HydraMaster or Dual Pumps or Wodbridge.....
Safe and happy cleaning
