Extracta leather cleaner
« on: February 27, 2008, 04:45:08 pm »
Had a job yesterday navy pigmented suite never been cleaned in 8 years.Started off using ultra clean but there was a lot of grease round the head areas which would not shift was leaving big white patches.Used extractas leather cleaner to my surprise took it straight off must have a solvent in it which can be dangerous in the wrong hands.

Used a protection cream but the lady wanted a shine left on, so used extractas seal and shine which in my opinion finished the job off lovely. She rang today to say how pleased she was and would be recommending me to all her friends.

Don't dismiss extractas leather cleaning system it works really well.No details on their website but give them a ring to find out more info.

Hi Steve,

I always use extracta leather clean & care kit, find it very effective and comes in a nice professional looking case.

When are Extracta bringing out new machines ?. John told me 10 years ago they were designing new units but nothing seems to have happened.

Extracta leather cleaner is good but as has been said is a little on the strong side in inexperienced hands.

I almost always dilute it 50:50 with water unless it is a VERY grubby piece of furniture
