as you might have realised I always take my camera to every job so have a vast collection of very informative/interesting  cleaning related photos.

I'm thinking of putting a collection together and selling them on perhaps Ebay, how could I stop them being copied & resold? so they are only usable by the buyer

Mike,it's a great idea but it would be impossible to stop others just using and copying them.
You could state copywright but it wouldn't be worth it unless you are prepared to take thousands of unscrupulous  Ebayers to court.
It's so easy,just purchase a copy on Ebay from your good self,copy and rename it and stick it back on.-John

You could make it invisible in about 5 minuets.

if they are on disc you can put copyright protection software on the disc to stop them being copyed like dvds but if you no how you can bypass this to but not every one will no how

Lee Grundy used to sell his Bomber marketing on disc and to stop copies he used to collect enough orders and then they would all go out on 1 date, then vaolume 2 on one date etc etc.

Mike,

There is no practical physical way you can stop them being copied but you can obviously sue people who do!  It'd cost you money to do so and whether you'd recoup your expenses is questionable.

IMO you'd be better off selling the copyright onto someone else who'd then be free to do with them as they wished.

Alternatively, you could join a stock photograph agency. They'd sell your photos for you and look after copyright, but obviously take a cut of the revenue.

Mike as somebody has already said, if you know Photoshop you can copyright ''Mike Haliday'' across the middle of photos and agree to remove when buyer has paid.

Its quite simple.

photos on the internet cannot be used for print copy. they are too low in resolution and will come out blurred.

then to stop people using them online, just put your name on them as suggested. when you sell one, you sell it without you mark on.
