I spoke to my local Safeclean franchise in January and he said that he was using the new stuff and the allergy stuff also but he said he prefered the other stuff before, he didn't have a scorpion as I asked him he was still happy with his Alltec proplus.

2 x 7.5" lamb vacs and various pumps from 100psi upwards, I've had 1 and it was built to last for ever I eventually sold mine on.

Found out what I think is the spec of the Sahara ProPlus - its a Pro with the addition (Plus) of an extra vac motor.

So on the Alltec 2x3 stage vacs, 100psi pump, 1.5" hoses, heat at 50degree, 40 litre / 35 litre tanks

On the Scorpion 3x3 stage vacs, 500psi pump, 2" hoses, no heat but 50 degree is mildly hot tap water, 72 litre /68 litre tanks.

and he was "still happy" with the Alltec Proplus....... mmm! ............ takes all sorts.

Shaun,
the same guy also told me the altec was a load of crap, not what his version was before.

Chris, I think, but not 100% sure that the alergen product going into Safeclean certainly looks like the stuff your using,
Thats the impression I got anyway from the operator.

I believe the Advantage is the new Pro plus but the differences are 1 less vac but the vac sizes are different scorpions are 5.8" where alltec use 7.5 so there is a difference but not as much as you think also they have an optional 200psi pump although I understand you can now get bigger and the heat is far more.

Adding a 2" port is not rocket science I have opened my 2 ports up so I recieve 2 lots of 2" to a Y and then 2.5" and it took a few minutes so that's a bit of a nonsense really.

When I was down in Cornwall at Hydramaster they had a Safeclean franchisee with a Boxxer 421 in the back of his van!

Ive had 2 pro plus machines, they go on for ever and clean just as well as my scorpion, just a bit slower, longer dry times and you cant use as much hose. I know guys who turned over 20k a month using these with multi vans.

Have you been to the Safeclean website? There product is called Allergy-out, don't know if its the same product but with there national  presence advertising allergy treatments it can only be good for cleaners who already sell this type product.

Shaun would 2.5" make ant difference to the prowler?

The Advantage is the new Pro Plus - and doesnt have one less vac! (sorry Shaun), 2 x 3 stage as normal. Its basically exactly the same the only difference is the layout to make it easier to service the motors. The quality of them are superb and last forever.

I would imagine that the 'Allergy Out' is identicle to Solutions AllergStop - as they supply Safeclean. Sounds like a re-badged effort to me. The new guy at Safeclean (he used to run a franchise himself until offered a good sales job - then to run it) apparently had a falling out with Alltec when he had a franchise - hence now using Solutions.

Kev it has one less vac than a Scorpion.

Steve a prowler would crucify any porti on a power issue but this is not about that and neither is it a knock Scorpion day!!

Geoff,
Nick says you are a lying git ;)  who's telling the truth?

cut & pasted from Cleantalk

As I am unable to reply on there and many of you use both forums I felt it necessary to comment,

The "local" Safeclean technician does not live in the same village, nor does he operate a Scorpion (yet)

Nor has any Scorpion been sold on Ebay,

So why the post other than to cause trouble and misinformation (again)

In fact the safeclean technicians report of the "conversation" is totally different.

 ;D  ;D  ;

http://www.safeclean.co.uk/search.php

type in my postcode, and hey presto Dennis is their, he lives in same village, unless he has suddenly moved.

He , definatly said he had a scorpion, with a booster  , When I said you must have bought that from Solutions , he said "from ebay "
Why would I make this up?

and why would hesay , that they are now using a new alergen product?

So, Nick, is the lying git,
and if he has a differnt version of the conversation perhaps he should enlighten me, rest assured
my version is exactly has it was told.

Nick,   try been honest about things for a change
