Thinkind about making an a board up to place outside peoples houses when doing a clean, does anyone do this and do you get any kind of response?

If its brightly coloured and got safety warnings on aswell as advertising your business your better to have them than not ,then at least your covered if somebody trips over your hoses .

    Father in laws ex safety officer he told me to get them as soon as I got my truckmount.

i used to place one at the side of the road where i previously  lived i got 2 or 3 jobs a week from it but the kids nicked it a few times then the council said i had to move it eventually they told me they would just dump it if they caught site of it again

Cheapest option is probably a couple of corex signs mounted on a cheap plastic saw horse.

So long as you leave it on the driveway of the property you are working on there should be no issues from the Council whatsoever. Alternatively, place it on the roof of your van (But remember to retrieve it before you drive away..

I did have an 'A' board years ago but it was either in the way in the rear of the van or in the way on the path.

So instead I spent more money on signwriting the van which has been money well spent.

It advertises whilst I'm sleeping, working and driving. I call it 'The Ice cream Van' because you didn't know you wanted one until the van turned up.

I pick up alot of business from neighbours to where I'm working as they read all the things on my van and it encourages them to ask.
