Got a booster pump today thgat has 1 inch threads for in lest and out let.  I have stand ard garden hose from outside tap to shed.  What connections do I need to connect normal hose lock connection to 1 inch thread on booster?  Have standard hoselock inlet connection to sediment filter.  What connection do I need to connect 1 inch booster out let to standard hoslock connection?

You need 1" male screw to 1/2" barbs. Connect hese to 1/2" hose and then you can use standard hozelock fittings.

Thanks Alex.  Is'nt there a connection for 1inch thread direct to 3/4 inch hozloch conection??

Seems contrivered but is the only option as you say?

Is this the only conection as the preferd option is to only use 1/2 ich hose on filters and RO?

There is a male hozelock connector that has a male thread on the other end but it is only in 3/4" and 1/2".

I wanted to have a hoslock inlet to the filters as that is the connector on the inlet for the filters but that was when the garden hose was running direct to the filters.  Now I have a booster pump a presume I should avoid 3/4 hose from booster to filters and use 1/2inch??

Is that hose a better option??

From what Alex said I presume I need hoslock connector on hose with 1/2 inch adaptor then the connector Alex showed me (picture).  Then same connector running 1/2 inch hose from pump to filter.

I think I assumed that you could get a 1inch connector that goes straight into 3/4 inch garden hose but it appears that you can't so have to use 1/2 inch adaptor on hoselock.  Only need this for inlest as out let to filter will all be 1/2 inch hose so can just use the connector Alex showed me.

Does that make any sende to you

I've looked at the threads on the pump and the don't seem to fit the connector you showed.  To make things easier I've attached 2 pictures.  On is the inlet connector with non return valve screwed in.  the other is the outlet valve.  they are both 1 inch.  The 1 inch connector won't fit these 1 inch connectors.

What do you recommend .  Hope the pics make things easier for your assessmnet.

Unusual connections for a booster pump!

You need a female screw thread adapter that will then allow you to connect these

to each side of the pump.
I will try to look up the correct adapter for you tomorrow from our trade catalogue.

you do realise that the max output of the pump is 3.5bar, which is 51.5psi, not really enough to be of any real benefit.

Thanks again for all your help.  At least the picture helps explain things !!

Once you've identified the adaptor.  I will need other conections to connect inlet to standatd garden 3/4 inch hose, and out let to smaller 1/2 hose.

I'll view later tomorrow to see what you've found.

What would you recommend out of the clarkes pump or this one from RO man?  What is the max PSI for the clarkes one??  RO man is 95psi.  Thanks for your help.

I believe chic cleaning sell the 1 inch connections you need for that pump or try machine mart.
