Hello everybody,
We currently have very standard Numatic carpet cleaners, which tend to get used about once a month. Recently, we are being asked to clean the clients carpets on a very regular basis.
The Numatic models are not cutting the mustard. Someone has suggested Karcher steam assisted carpet cleaners.
Are they any good? If not, what would you recommend?
In order to answer some of the questions which may already be bubbling;
The areas are usually domestic premises - either one or two bedroomed properties.
The carpets are rarely deep weave and are often heavily stained with faeces, blood, food, grease and general crap (I can appreciate that the effectiveness of the equipment is usually down to the chemical used).
Water is nearly always available on site, howver, they are occasions when we have to outsource it.
The cleaning machine needs to be able to be managed by one man - included lifting the thing on and off his truck.
It also needs to be relatively robust - as you will appreciate, some staff are never careful with equipment which isn't theirs.
Although it is a 'how long is a piece of string' question, but helpful answers would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
