Nice to be told of the change?
how can you trust a someone that is selling a product or a machine one day and not the next. gives you something to think about when making your buying mind up. if its a product that's not such a problem, but if its a machine then where is the back up?
we all know that the market for people selling stuff to us not that big in the UK. so these guys that provide us with products and machines can do one of two things, one get a great product range and machines and sell those to us over and over, or keep selling as the "latest" product or machine.
I think the second way will have an effect over time as people will get feed up with being told that this is the latest thing and then it gets dropped and then they are told that this new thing is the latest thing.
just take a look at chemspec range, prochem or alltec or any other range for that matter. they add to that range.
the really sad thing here is that is the new guys that get caught out. for most of us once is all we need.
testing products is something that we all should do all the time. as no one situation is the same so how can any product be great on every job. i work a system that has the main product and then a back up. this way you never have to depend on any one supplier or product.
i will bet that you can take any new product and find an old one that does the job as good and in most case cheaper, as it does not have to cover marketing or development costs. the only reason the new product looks so good is that you are being sold it, and the old one is just sitting on the shelve.
