I thought i`d get the ionic brush out yesterday and give it another go,after doing a house with it i went and inspected the window`s only to find that there were an awful lot of spotting every where.I did the back of the house again with it and still spots,i then changed to my yellow cleantech brush and did the fronts and they came up perfect.I think this is the same problem people have with the vikan rectangular brush, the bristles are very similar to the new ionic brush and some wc`s i know have also had this probleem with using this brush.

I really don't see why it would cause spotting. And if you did the front again with another brush, wouldn't that say something about it being cleaned twice? I'd say ofcourse the second clean is going to be spotless? I highly doubt that a company like Ionics would use a brush that would leave spots, and how would a brush leave 'spots' anyway? I'd say something else is the matter. But hey, I'm not wfp yet. I'm just trying to use logic here. You were full of how great the brush was in older threads and how much you loved it. What happened? Are we talking about the multipole brush here? Crinkle monofil or not?

Crinkle monofil or not?I`m on about the new ionic brush, and i said i also did the windows again with the ionics brush and they still spotted,i also did some windows again with my cleantech and they were perfect. The ionics brush is to stiff with cold water is the conclusion i`ve come to it`s fine on PVC but on wooden windows it causes problems.
It`s a good hot brush i`m not doubting that at all,i`ve submerged it in hot water and it`s much better but when cold ike you say it`s to stiff.I`m going to re-jet the tucker and give it another go,the vikam mono`s are rubbish in my opinion.

I bought my mono vikan, used it for a couple days and threw it in the shed. Couple months later I gave it another go to get use to it and prefer it with hot for frequent regular cleans but not for initial cleans.

Because mine certainly isn't crinkle???
Wayne thomas said this :They're a bit like the new: (best hot) Ionic crinkle,Looks like he said new Ionics brush is crinkle.
To be honest i think the majority of the brushes work better with hot water, especially the stiffer mono type brushes.

It might be good, but isn't that a disadvantage?
