We dont, have had a few people ask but we tend to say it really only needs doing every few months or even twice a year.

We always seemed to under price a con roof clean, as they can take ages to clean so now we price a lot better this tends to make the customer want it cleaned fewer times
Oooooo that is shiny!!

Get sick of getting on my steps and leaning over every roof.Wished my company had just offered one deep clean or two a year.
Still,things might change.

Can I ask how much you charge for a first clean on the roof and how long would it take??

Thanks

We charge 35 quid for initial deep clean then a fiver every 6 weeks when we pop back round, thats on top of what the house is.
Can take me 10 mins to lick over one I already deep cleaned some take 30 mins.
Depends on size and wether it glass roof panes or not. Did one on Friday that was the full width of the house( 5 bed detached) took two of us 30 mins cleaning it together!! Huge numpty of a thing, all glass!!

one of my customers has her roof cleaned every 4 weeks as she has glass panels and not plastic,i told her it only needs doing twice a year but she told me she wants it doing every 4 weeks,i charge her £20 to clean roof plus £25 to clean her house and it takes me 35 minutes to do both jobs.my best paying customer but they can afford this price has husband and wife are both doctors.

Further to this topic, for an average size con, how much extra would you guys charge on top of normal 4 week / 8 week house clean assuming they are done regular with house??

Thanks

we charge by bedrooms(amounts of) so 1/2 is 12.50  3beds 15quid 4 beds 17.50 and 20 for 5. any more beds than that is usually 25 quid.
So if they have a conservatory also thats another fiver on top of the above prices, every 6 weeks.

put your price up as you are doing yourself no favours cleaning con roofs for silly money as it's too time consuming.

Some conservatories I clean take 1 and a half times longer than the house itself to clean. I price according to time taken. Try to clean conservatory roof'(s) as little as possible.

Bosses have got a hard on for conservatories and the "Wow Factor" of a shiny clean conservatory.Personally I agree, even with the deep clean at 35 quid regardless of size, its time consuming and at that price of a fiver every 6 weeks is silly.Could clean more houses and earn more in the time it takes me to do 5-7 cons a day.

About the same Wayne,I make a start on the roof while my boy starts on the house and when he's done he sometimes chips in on the conservatory.9 times out of 10 Im wrapping up while he's still faffing about!!!

We try and work out how long it will take and times that by at least £40 (as there is two of us).
Its hard to give an exact price as it all depends on the roof type, we do one every 3 months and its all glass rectangles about 15" wide by about 5ft long and there are about 14 panes, we charge the guy £15 and it takes two of us about 15/20 minutes.

Where some typical con roof have dodgy tringle shape pieces these depending on the quantity on the roof can take longer to clean due to the intricate shape.

All i would say is quote more than you would earn window cleaning as it is harder work and its probably filthy hence the customer wanting it cleaned.
