Connecting RO to DI
« on: February 16, 2008, 10:35:31 pm »
Got a staic system in shed and have connected the RO up but will need a DI which is on order.  I have got JG 3/3 pipeing and the recommendation in the instruction sheet is to use this to connect to DI (if required).  I can do this but presume this will not connect up to the DI canister as I'm getting DI with 3/4 inch inlet and out let.

Should just use standard hose from RO to DI and change the connection on the outlet on RO from JG to hozlock or can/ should I buy connection to connect JG 3/8 pipe to 3/4 inch Hozlock on DI.

Finaly what to most people have as hose to tank or DI?  Is it 3/8 pipe or standard hose.

Sorry for all questions  ;D

what ro are you using? if its the merlin then the clear pipe will fit inside 1/2 inch hose, a couple of hose clips on the outside and job done. if its  an ro-man type theres a john guest fitting available giving you the ro fitting speedfit to 3/4 internal female.

Craig

It's a 4x 40 but only with 3/8 inch JG pipe.
