Lightweight but powerful vacuum cleaner

I am looking for a lightweight but powerful vacuum cleaner as we have a lot of three storey houses and its alot easier with lighter hoovers. However we have tried some but they are not powerful enough, Has anyone bought one that is any good?

We use henrys at the moment but find them too heavy to run up and downstairs with. Also stairs not easy.
